I'm currently a rising Junior majoring in Computer Science at the University of Michigan. Through my classes I've developed a strong interest in both Full Stack Software Engineering and Machine Learning. I recently completed a Software Engineering internship at MathWorks and am currently interning at Amazon as an SDE intern.   • Worked on full-stack internal companywide code search/navigation tool, extending the tool to offer language-specific features via application of Microsoft’s Language Server Protocol (LSP) for MATLAB and JavaScript
  • Implemented various modern frontend features from scratch, improving user experience and the utility of the tool
  • Added support for additional browsers and automated the tool’s deployment workflow through the use of several BASH scripts and the cron UNIX time-based job scheduler

  • Major projects include developing a Python script utilizing the 25Live CollegeNET API to greatly speed up the previously manual process of classroom assignment and developing various Google Apps Scripts (in JavaScript) to facilitate the study room scheduling process

  • Worked under Dr. Jeffrey Tseng, leading a team of 3 students in a computational biology project regarding the prediction of deleterious mutations leading to Parkinson's Disease
  • Wrote pyMol scripts in order to display protein structure and the effects of non-synonymous single nucleotide polymorphisms (nsSNPs) on structure
  • Subsequently selected as a semifinalist in the Siemens Competition

Siemens Competition Semifinalist

Troy High School

Awarded to the 300 most outstanding research reports across the country, from a pool of roughly 1600 entries. Earned semifinalist status for my paper, In Silico Analysis of Novel Non-Synonymous Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms in the F-box only protein 7 Gene.
